WhatsApp is all set to make the concept of calling and messaging in virtual reality real with the help of Meta Quest in recently launched companion mode.

And they will announce it very soon for their users. As many of you already know, Meta Quest is actually a new series of virtual reality headsets.
They were previously popular by the name of Oculus. However, in recent times a new series of VR headsets has been launched by the name of Meta Quest which has already been liked by many users. Meta, the manufacturer of these VR headsets, has launched their new headset at a very affordable price.
But now the real question that arises here is how WhatsApp and Meta Quest can be linked. As there are still some users who are unknown with use of these virtual reality headsets. So, to avoid any ambiguity WhatsApp is working to provide its users a smooth and easy-to-understand experience.
So, they will allow people to connect their existing WhatsApp account with Meta Quest virtual reality headsets as soon as their mobile phones, tablets and computers will be connected with this virtual reality headset. In fact, users will be enabled to see their Virtual Reality headset in the connected devices list.
Hence, it is very clear that using WhatsApp in virtual reality will be only possible in newly introduced companion mode. This companion mode was introduced to link a single WhatsApp account to multiple devices. And in the list of these multiple devices Meta Quest Headsets will be an add on feature.
Well, it’s too early to predict how users will feel about this new feature because it is still unclear that how they will experience it. However, it is to be assumed that people will be able to see and read messages without performing any hand gestures.
