Today we have selected Frank Coerlin to take his interview. He is the Co-Founder of Bytekast.
First of all, how are you and your team doing in these COVID-19 times?
The Covid-19 pandemic has been rather positive for us and our team as the demand for online learning has increased, and we have been lucky enough to be in an industry that has not been negatively affected.
Tell us about you, your career, how you founded or joined this company?
The Online Learning Platform has been in development for about five years now.
I am a co-founder of the business and started seeing an increased demand for online/mobile learning solutions.
How does your company innovate?
We have created a platform that allows for the delivery of learning content to desktop and mobile devices.
In short, it is Digital learning is made easy. ByteKast LXP pushes the boundaries to go beyond traditional e-learning by using fresh, forward-thinking technology. A digital learning solution that offers pre-designed template pages, offline capabilities, real-time syncing, and collaboration.
The combination of Web Activity and Web Tracking is a powerful mechanism that allows any off-app activity & pathway integration to be limited only by the imagination.
How the Coronavirus pandemic affects your business, and how are you coping?
The Covid-19 pandemic has been rather positive for us and our team as the demand for online learning has increased, and we have been lucky enough to be in an industry that has not been negatively affected.
Furthermore, it has opened new international markets for us as a South African business and is now present in multiple countries.
Did you have to make difficult choices, and what are the lessons learned?
No need for general office expenses as the sales and support team can be situated anywhere. Something that was not possible before the pandemic.
What specific tools, software, and management skills are you using to navigate this crisis?
With the help of video conferencing tools, we can promote, sell and support our platform to the world.
Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?
Combine learning resources, courses, and activities into structured learning pathways and deliver them directly to your target audience across any desktop or mobile device with a great learning experience.
We are ahead of our competitors as we started with mobile in mind when the industry was still pretty much focusing on desktop. This has given us a competitive advantage.
