This pandemic is a very difficult time for everyone. My team and I have had to deal with it like everyone else, and of course, we have had to adopt new habits. Fortunately, we are all fine, and we are now well versed in the constraints of the health crisis. Even during a health crisis, our team is always ready to take on new challenges and engage with our clients to ensure their success.
Tell us about yourself, your career, how you founded or joined this company?
My name is Jeremie Politi, and I am an SEO consultant. I have been practicing SEO for about ten years, and I am now the head of Smart Web Group. It is an SEO agency that I founded in 2010 and that specializes in SEO and SEO training. From the beginning, I was very passionate about the web world, particularly about SEO. I practiced by doing SEO on Google for a few businesses in my neighborhood. After years of practice, I was able to master the keys to SEO and started offering SEO audits, copywriting, and link-building campaigns.
How does your company innovate?
My digital agency specializes mainly in SEO. We also offer SEO training for people who want to learn about SEO. We also adapt our offers to the needs of our customers. We help international companies to expand and grow on the french market. Since the beginning of the health crisis, we have improved our offer to do all exchanges with our customers online.
How is the coronavirus pandemic affecting your business, and how are you dealing with it?
We have noticed that many companies have preferred to focus on the natural referencing of their sites during this crisis. My team and I had to reorganize our way of working to respond effectively to client requests. Fortunately, the services of my agency can be done remotely. However, we had to review our way of working with the barrier gestures and the limitation of contacts. The limitation of contacts has meant that the majority of exchanges with our clients are now done online. Since the crisis began, some of my team members have had to telecommute.
Did you have to make any difficult choices, and what lessons did you learn? Learned?
Yes, as in any business, it is often necessary to make tough choices. The lesson I’ve learned is that you always have to move forward, no matter what. I always try to take opportunities from the obstacles that arise. And so far, we can say that it has worked because always moving forward has helped my agency get to where it is now.
What specific tools, software, and management skills are you using to deal with this crisis?
Aside from the SEO tools and software we usually use, we had to use specific software for telecommuting. Since the beginning of the crisis, we have used video conferencing software such as Google Meet or Teams. My team also uses software dedicated to exchanges between collaborators, including the TeamSpeak tool and Cozy Cloud.
Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the race?
We don’t have competitors, but rather potential partners! To stand out from the crowd, we rely on respecting human and professional values, values that we strive to preserve, even in this time of crisis. We offer a variety of SEO services; all focused on listening to our clients’ needs. At any time, each of our clients will have a contact person to ask all their questions about our services or the current SEO. As the founder, I make sure that I receive our clients personally, as much as possible given the current situation. Finally, we always make sure to respect the standards imposed by Google in terms of reference. In this way, our customers will be assured of a lasting result.
