Today we have selected Sebastian Rindé to take his interview. He is the Marketing Manager At Fabric Staffing.

First of all, how are you and your team doing in these COVID-19 times?

Amazing! Before COVID-19 we were experimenting with work-from-home days a few times a week. Once shutdowns happen, the transition was seamless, and the team continues to outperform our expectations. 

Tell us about you, your career, how you founded or joined this company?

I joined the Marine Corps right after I graduated high school. I had a very lucky and unique military experience, upon graduation from Bootcamp and MOS school I applied for the IMA Det (Individual Mobilization Augmentee). IMAs are Marines in the Selected Reserve who are attached to active-duty units in support of operational Combatant Commanders and governmental agencies across the globe. I was lucky enough to join a unit in Okinawa Japan where I assisted with joint operations for months at a time. Upon completion of these operations, I would fly back to the states and work odd jobs like bicycle courier, personal trainer, and eventually finding myself into operations and marketing at the end of my military contract. 

I joined Fabric Staffing in 2019 initially assisting with recruiting and within 6 months promoted to Marketing Manager. In my first year, I was responsible for over a 900% increase in our overall digital awareness. 

How does your company innovate?

Our innovation process starts with listening to our employees. At Fabric we keep open lines of communication with every employee, anyone has the ability to talk to and be heard by any and all team members. Through honest and open communication, we are able to assess issues and find solutions that enhance the lives of our employees and correspondingly our business. How has the Coronavirus pandemic affected your business, and how are you coping?

At the beginning of the pandemic, we had only a few clients hiring. But after a few months when business had established they’re telecommute teams and assumed a sense of normalcy, we found ourselves busier than ever. On the marketing front, we focused a lot more on expanding our organic upper-funnel strategies. We did this by layering multiple digital content strategies across various platforms. 

Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?

We have a lot of competitors, local and global. Recruiting is and has been an essential part of business and there are a lot of agencies or freelancers out there. However, at Fabric our entire approach to recruiting is unique, from our subscription-based service to how we train our staff. Our CEO Rory Bebbington understood major issues within contingent-based recruiting policies and structured Fabric Staffing around this. That is why we are truly the best tech recruiters in Los Angeles.
