Today we have selected Selva Sundarapandian to take his interview. He is the Co-Founder of RentALLScript.
Tell us about you, your career, how you founded or joined this company?
I worked majorly in Operation for 4+ years to gain experience and knowledge before starting my own venture. My friend Sudharsana Rajalingam and I co-founded this company called RentALLScript in 2017. It’s been 4+ years since we started our journey together, and it has been exciting and challenging so far.
What is your company all about?
RentALLScript is an online marketplace app solutions development company. We specialize in building clone scripts that will help startups to launch their business. We have been assisting more than 300+ entrepreneurs by giving out user-friendly and quality web solutions and apps.
We have created 5 products so far and are super excited to launch our 6th product (Stay tuned!).
How does your company innovate?
We build a creative and sustainable business model that works time and beyond. Our products are a clone script of Airbnb, Uber, and UberEats.
Our innovation concentrates on the technology we used to build our clone scripts, the features and functionalities we introduce, and the simple-to-use dashboard to manage your startup more effectively and efficiently.
How the Coronavirus pandemic affects your business, and how are you Coping?
The pandemic has stopped us from coming to our workspace, but we are very well equipped to manage the situation using tools and software.
All our business deals were online even before the pandemic, so we didn’t have any big changes in our work environment.
Did you have to make difficult choices, and what are the lessons learned?
We learn from our mistakes, or we learn from the mistakes that others from the same industry make. So far, we have learned not to promise the customers that we couldn’t keep up.
We ensure transparency in all stages of customer dealings which has made us more reliable amongst our customers, and it also helps us with customer retention.
What specific tools, software, and management skills are you using to navigate this crisis?
We use Slack for textual communication and updates, Google meets for meetings, and Trello for task allocation. And each team has its own channels to connect in Slack. We are managing the business operations as smoothly as possible during our work-from-home situation.
Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?
Our competitors differ from each product. So we don’t have any steady competitors. We stay ahead of the market using our constant innovation in our products and very creative marketing strategies.
In the development aspect, we are very particular about giving out the best quality product developed using the latest technology that always gives an edge to the customers while running their business. We especially pride ourselves on our pre and post-sale services, and so could our customers.
Your final thoughts:
We hope to help more entrepreneurs with their startups to digitize as easily as possible with our sharing economy scripts, on-demand platforms.
My personal experience is reading more, connecting with more like-minded people, being receptive to ideas and pitches from your team, and constantly looking for ways to improve. And lastly, mastering the art of learning and unlearning throughout your venture.
