Today we have selected Vijit Tyagi to take his interview. He is the Chief Executive Officer at ProntoSys IT Services.
First of all, how are you and your team doing in these COVID-19 times?
Over the years, we have learned that things won’t always go according to your needs, and one can never be perfect. Mistakes are meant to happen, and we have seen it all, from financial issues to differences amongst the team. But every mishappening is a mind and eye-opener for us- all of the hurdles together have brought numerous changes in the course of action.
I believe that hurdles are just part of the process. I have always stayed adamant about fulfilling my dream and have always taken every hurdle competitively. Even during these unprecedented times of COVID-19, when clients are not in a position to pay for renewals, we did not lose hope. The ProntoSys team decided to continue with services to the existing clients.
Although our team is new to working from home, we ensured that our team enjoyed working together, just like our clients. Post COVID-19, things have undoubtedly changed, but ProntoSys has managed to bounce back with zero layoffs and is prepared to help more small and big businesses worldwide to expand their reach via online marketing!
Tell us about you, your career, how you founded or joined this company?
“Thinking on how the world is searching for ways to market but unable to find the apt one was the ignition of ProntoSys existence.”
B.Tech Computer Science, and with experience of 12 years in IT Services, I felt a lack of awareness and publicity about the advantages of digital marketing. So my idea was to bring to light the advantages of digital marketing, social media marketing, and the potential of Search engine optimization (SEO) to the international world.
Over the years, I have worked closely with the digital marketing industry within and outside India. I aspire to create a common platform that allows emerging budding companies to position themselves in the market through digital marketing.
It won’t be wrong to say that the foundation of ProntoSys hailed from the missing link of the marketing industry that annoyed me on a personal level. After monitoring the start-up’s scalability, market validation, business model, and design, the ProntoSys office was set up in Mumbai and Gurugram, India. Now we are Dubai and London.
How does your company innovate?
Working with global brands to consult them for digital solutions and spending hours in the industry made me realize that- there was a certain gap between service providers and companies. After precise monitoring of the industry, I understood a lack of understanding about digital marketing.
Later I also noticed numerous service providers out there- belief in pitching services rather than focusing on how to deliver those services. I witnessed that the service providers don’t take care of their existing client’s concerns and keep eyeing the potential client’s needs.
Hence, PronotSys, since its inception, believed that digital marketing is nothing but the need of the hour. No matter what sort of business you have, it is equally essential for big and small businesses. Moreover, globalization has become important that your business meets global reach with low costing and 24*7 marketing. Especially post-pandemic, the world is swiftly shifting towards online platforms, and people have now got used to trusting online stuff.
After all, how can they forget that the internet was the only place that kept them sane during these unprecedented times? So, all in all, they concluded that digital platforms were and will be the only medium to reach out to customers at extremely low cost during tough times. Therefore, we help our clients create a safe online platform where people can fearlessly reach out to get the services/products of their choice or requirement.
How the Coronavirus pandemic affects your business, and how are you coping?
With the outbreak of COVID-19, things change drastically for us. Our main concern was to get more clients on boards and things kept getting difficult for the sales team as businesses kept running out of budget for digital marketing. But, on the other hand, their demands started increasing when it came to our existing clients.
Post COVID-19 individuals invested more energy surging through the web while being secured in their homes. As a result, it has changed their assumptions, so brands started demanding changes in their correspondence procedures.
To further develop their online presence, we started introducing brands superiorly. Finally, our entire team got to refining each existing brand. We focused on bringing brands to associate with their clients to foster a good connection with them.
It would be right to add that our responsibilities doubled up while our resources decreased as our team was still new with the concept of working from home. But, in the end, we sailed bright. All our team members are strong-headed and solely focused on getting more clients while maintaining the trust of others. We even decreased our package prices, considering the financial issues during COVID.
Did you have to make difficult choices and the lessons learned?
There can’t be any alteration made to the point that team is the armor of an organization- moving ahead, and the challenging part was to keep the team motivated even when the world was going through so much. As we stepped further, the work expanded, so did the requirement for like-minded hands. Day in and day out, we indulged in taking interviews to build a talented team.
The following months took our organization to unearth all the aspects of digital marketing, including- web development, mobile app development, software development, search engine optimization, social media optimization, google local listing, google ad words, and others.
ProntoSys made sure to cover all parts of online marketing to satiate the thirst of budding businesses. But hats off to the right people who joined our hands and constantly supported my ideas, and criticized me when needed. The team kept sane in the difficult times; although there were initially some management difficulties in work from the home process, the time management application helped us stay on track.
We ensured to keep Fun-Friday meetings, which gave the team a hope that soon this time shall pass too, and we’ll get to start working from the office!
What are your final thoughts for sticking in the industry in the future?
Entering the new year 2022, ProntoSys plans to go global, focusing mainly on online marketing and bringing its client’s authentic information from the global world of digital marketing. A goal set for the team is to create a good client base globally as now we have an office in Dubai, London, Gurugram& Mumbai, so it’s time to move forward to setting up an office in Australia & Singapore. The highlight of the coming years will be to provide the best quality services and become a digital market leader.
