First of all, how are you and your team doing in these COVID-19 times?

My team and I have been fine throughout COVID-19. We are happy to be all healthy, even though we all work remotely.

Tell us about you, your career, how you founded or joined this company?

I grew up always wanting to own a business and had a strong interest in the stock market. I then came to realize that I was more passionate about digital marketing, which then compelled me to form my company by merging those passions together. I enhanced those services by adding website development given that’s where the foundation is at for every good digital marketing campaign.

How does your company innovate?

My company innovates through partnering with marketing technology providers that offer cutting edge capabilities that enhance the value of our services. Through this, we have managed to help our clients with robust growth even during challenging times.

How the coronavirus pandemic affects your business, and how are you coping?

While the coronavirus put pressure on the demand of our services particularly on the most heavily impacted industries like restaurants and gyms, we are coping with more aggressively marketing our services and expanding our capabilities to industries that are experiencing growth, like e-commerce.

Did you have to make difficult choices, and what are the lessons learned?

We ended up pursuing the strategy that we need to be a service of our own service more than ever. When we can become our own case study and tell clients that we have made achievements like growing organic search traffic to our own website by 250% and getting 4 leads per month through our own LinkedIn campaigns, it becomes a much more compelling proposition to a prospect that you can help them profitably drive traffic to their business too. I think this additional effort will only serve to grow our agency as the environment recovers to be even stronger than it was before the pandemic.

What specific tools, software, and management skills are you using to navigate this crisis?

We already had a flexible work culture within our team, and that allowed us to adapt to the environment. We consistently iterate the processes that we follow to better optimize our services and offer a better service to customers throughout time. The vast wide array of tools that we implement allows us to stay on top of trends and offer the best return on investment to our clients. For example, we typically analyze the current level of search impressions and clicks given by particular keywords on a specific page using Google Search Console and focus on improving high intent keywords that are somewhere between rank 7 and 30 with a relatively high volume. I then use tools like SimilarContent to optimize the page’s content and then find backlinks through Ahrefs.

Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?

We have many competitors, both locally in the Burlington MA area and nationally. We plan to stay in the game by offering high-quality service as every client has my direct cell phone number. We also provide honest upfront set up fees and monthly charges that are based on the amount of work done to achieve great results for you. Since we offer month-to-month terms for all clients, everyone has the peace of mind that they can cancel when our services are not worthwhile for them. While this does necessitate setting the expectations right for services that take time to achieve results like SEO, we communicate that upfront to our clients.
