First of all, how are you and your team doing in these COVID-19 times?

Our team is excelling during the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to the rise in demand for digital solutions, our business is booming. We have seen tremendous growth over the past six (6) months because our clients need a digital presence now more than ever. The shift towards digital platforms was already happening, but not businesses need digital marketing and advertising to grow their businesses because it is how a majority of their potential customers and clients are consuming information.

Tell us about you, your career, how you founded or joined this company?

My name is Robb Fahrion and I am the co-founder of Flying V Group and currently serve as one of the firm’s partners. I founded FVG in 2016 knowing that there was a growing demand for digital marketing and advertising services in the professional services field. We continue to help clients in the financial, real estate, insurance, and law fields.

How does your company innovate?

Our company is built on technology and processes. We are very meticulous when it comes to utilizing technology to work more efficiently and effectively. We still utilize human capital, but our firm uses every bit of technology and innovation to provide a better experience for our clients and better results. Technology allows us to work quicker, get more done, and see positive results faster.

How the coronavirus pandemic affects your business, and how are you coping?

At the beginning of the pandemic, we lost about 40% of our business. At that time, we spent our newly found availability and used it to better improve our company internally. We did not sit idly and hope that things would get better. We were proactive and positioned ourselves to be sure that when things did turn around we would be as ready as ever.

Did you have to make difficult choices, and what are the lessons learned?

Yes, we had to eliminate some of our existing clients because they were no longer profitable for us. However, in doing so, this allowed us to spend more time with our core group of clients and be sure that they had everything they might possibly need.

What specific tools, software, and management skills are you using to navigate this crisis?

We use a technology stack that includes Slack, G Suite, Trello, and analytics software. We have been able to streamline our communication tremendously by using Slack.

Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?

Our competitors are any medium-large-sized digital agency. We are focused on bettering our own agency and provided premium service and consultation for our marketing clients.
