Today we have selected Vishal Solanki to take his interview. He is the CEO Of Future Profiles.
First of all, how are you and your team doing in these COVID-19 times?
We are thankful for the office management and team. Because of their coordinated approach and synergy, we have been able to adopt the “work from home” set-up with zero hassles. The global pandemic forced our hands into trying innovative work approaches remotely, but we believe it further prepared us to tackle similarly unfavorable situations in the future. Most importantly, this taught us how to retain self-motivation within.
How does your company innovate?
We have been part of the IT field for over a decade and have come this far because we know how to keep growing the organization’s competencies, technically and strength-wise. The main forte of our company is that we have the technical nuance to convert basic concepts into a real-life digital solution. We never say NO to a clientele, whether from a startup firm with a limited budget or a multinational corporation.
How the Coronavirus pandemic affects your business, and how are you coping?
No business sector went unscathed from this global pandemic; everyone has had to deal with it mentally or psychologically. We soon realized that the best way to cope with this situation was to strictly follow staff safety guidelines and motivate colleagues to prioritize “self-protection for staff-protection.”
Luckily, being from an IT background, we adopted the “Work From Home” culture where I am proud to say that every team member held their end of the bargain and offered maximum support & productivity. That period taught us that it’s possible to expand your skillset and workforce without necessarily overhauling the physical workplace.
Did you have to make difficult choices, and what are the lessons?
The most difficult choice was to retain every employee during these testing times, even though our ROI was getting affected due to the pandemic. For this, I had to work more than 20 hours a day with the team, but I knew that this time willwouldntually phase out, and if I can manage to retain the full workforce right now, it will surely strengthen our long-term relationship.
I have faced numerous ups and downs in my career, but this scenario, in particular, taught me that what keeps us going with motivation is SELF-BELIEF.
What specific tools, software, and management skills are you using to navigate this crisis?
The GOOGLE MEET and HANGOUT groups are JAM to communicate for daily tasks, and for clientele communication, SLACK is the first choice. This communication channel has been FRUITFY the journey so that we will stick to this plan.
Tell us about your career and how you founded or joined this company?
Being an ambitious soon-to-be entrepreneur from the get-go, it was always my end goal to own my startup, however small. Therefore, as soon as I received my MBA degree, the focus quickly shifted to realizing my dream of owning a venture, preferably in the IT sector, and for that, I gradually accumulated a group of like-minded and ambitious individuals & hence, the first brick of what now is a fruitful business was laid way back in 2011. With “Future Profiles,” I finally had to chance to be my boss, and with the help of a tremendous workforce, we quickly set sail towards offering a fully-customized, creative solution to all our clients’ web needs. Over time, we expanded our expertise to include several web platforms such as PHP, Magento, Python, etc.
Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game? :
All small startups and big companies…offering better & customized services because each client has a different way of managing the same business. We don’t look at large MNCs as our direct rivals but rather as tutors, & what we learn from them is exactly what we apply in our business strategies, which has not just helped us stay afloat but gradually garner a strong global presence which is what we plan to take further. To stay in the game, we retain a core of world-class talents and let our elevated minds represent our IT brand.
Your Final Thoughts
I firmly believe in the idea that “The perfect way to predict the future is by creating it, ” which is the business mantra that I have always subscribed to, and I plan to continue with the same approach moving forth. Yes, “client satisfaction” is naturally at the forefront of what we do, but we also go the extra mile to ensure that what we lack today is where we excel tomorrow.
